Philips
Elliot, Pete and myself are in the final stages of a new series of instructional animations for Philips via DDB in Amsterdam at the moment, working with our good friends at Wyld Stallyons once again. Nothing we can reveal just yet, but in the meantime here's our actor/model Dave and Pete at the green screen shoot a few weeks ago.

New Editorials
Two new editorial pieces, at the bottom is one is for HBR about the lack of books in business and what we can learn from failing, I think its the first time i've ever used type to help an idea.
The top one was in The Independent to coincide with valentines day, based on a short story about the simple miscommunications in conversation between men and women.

ReachOutRCA Workshop
This was a short while ago now, but I was invited by ReachOutRCA to work with a group of fantastic Surrey Square primary school children. The workshop was called The Constructed Body, with the idea of creating collages, costumes and abstracted bodies, moving back and forward between 2D and 3D.
Firstly, the pupils made some collages working onto photographs of themselves. We then spent a bit of time developing similar ideas in small 3D forms.
In the second session at the Hockney Gallery, Royal College of Art,
we worked with paper and pattern, and playing on a bigger scale.
The final exercise involved creating surprising body shapes and working into these silhouettes with various mixed media.
Some more here. Thanks to all the pupils and staff at the school as well as the amazing ReachOutRCA crew.
